My daughter and older son got to be a part of a Rock video. We had a great time at the shoot, everyone was so friendly. My children loved being a part of it.
My children and I made a video of baking a cake today. Boy was that an adventure! This video is going to be posted on youtube with the other videos of my children singing. These are funny. I will post the links as soon as they are loaded for all to view.

ReplyDeleteWhen I was about 5 year old, my mother was having a terrible time getting my older brother to do his chores. He would cry, and cry and cry. She whirled around and with a very stern voice said, "I'm gonna to set you a fire.!" She grabs a switch, makes a dash for brother and gives him a swat, Mother turns around to see brother on fire literally!". Mercy me what have I done?. Mother screams. Mercy , Lordie Mercy!! She was not aware that brother had hid matches in his pocket. When she hit brother , it struck the match.!!
One day on the farm in Tennessee, Daddy, Mother and several of the children and worked all day in the hot sun trying to get the cane ready to make molasses for the winter. Tired and worn out and could not hardly go on step more, Dad's soft voice broke out into a song "Never Grow Old", Never Grow Old, In A Land, Where "We'll Never Go Old!" Mother walks over to Daddy and said, "Roscoe, what's the matter, you sound so sad? He camly replied, we are living in a land where we will never grow old, we will have to work like this till we die!! Mother and Daddy put their arms around each other and both began to sang,"Never Grow Old, Never Grow Old, In A Land, Where We'll Never Grow Old! With tears streaming down their face, as a child I could not help but wonder why, that Mother and Daddy wanted to hurry and grow old?
